Oral surgery

Oral surgery deals with aspects of surgical pathology in the oral cavity region. There are a number of oral surgery interventions that can be performed in the dental surgery, in circumstances where all the necessary material conditions are realised to perform a bloody operation, but also to treat possible accidents or complications.

As a rule, endo-oral interventions (dento-alveolar, small interventions on the oral mucosa, tongue, buccal plate) can be performed in dental surgeries.

Maxillofacial surgery is performed in specialised services, where there are possibilities to provide complex surgical treatment and postoperative care.
