Braces - Trainer Myobrace
One of many different types of trainer may be right for you or your child. Most trainers are effective during the growing period by guiding erupting teeth, improving jaw and bite development, preventing harmful jaw tics and correcting breathing. By intervening with this type of appliance at the right time, the chances of needing braces or extractions when growth is complete are reduced to zero.
After this period, other types of braces are recommended for dental alignment (in cases of minor dental crowding) as oral protection for athletes/brace wearers or to correct snoring and joint dysfunctions in the ears.
Trainers are worn 1-2 hours each day plus during sleep to be effective.
