Reverse occlusion

The 9-year-old patient notes that he closes his mouth backwards, with his lower teeth in front of his upper teeth. The cause is an underdevelopment of the upper jaw causing a reverse bite (class III skeletal and dental). At the age of 9 years, a disjunctor was applied for the upper jaw lengthening, then a trainer to correct the bite and then a fixed appliance for 2 years to finalise the occlusion.
